Sierra bound! Sobering to see that beautiful Mojave Green parked beside all those shoe tread patterns in the dust. Good catch. You look happy enough to burst in that great picture with Russell. Liked the part about running the trail. May your feet get lighter as you go.

Well, the So. Cal. landscape isn’t exactly wilderness, but it’s beautiful, too! I always did like it. Congratulations on 20%! Have I mentioned that I’m keeping track of your progress on a map at work? (On my cubicle wall.) Love you lots!

Congratulations on getting this far! Remember how you were so nervous about making those longer mileage days? And now you’re so casual about doing 25ers! Nde guapa, che ermana. So looking forward to joining up with you in a couple of months.

Sure looks nice out there. Glad your blisters are all healed! You will have Superfeet when this is done and can go barefoot in Oakland!

Wow! 20%! Congratulations! You are so inspiring. Meg and I want to be like you some day! =)

Tehachapi is such a gonzo place. I spent some time there as a kid (my dad worked for Zond, the company that originally put all of those windmills up in the hills to capture some of that INSANE wind)–walking through it sounds intense! Good luck!

Just discovered your blog the other day and am really enjoying reading about your PCT adventure! It’s exciting reading about your trip, I’ll be doing the JMT this summer myself and possibly the PCT next summer. I used to live in the Antelope Valley (yup it is the Antelope Valley) and absolutely love Tehachapi. Nice to hear you got to spend time with your guy finally and happy trails to you! =D
