Hello from Warner Springs, CA
I made it the first 109 miles! It’s been a fun walk, through chaparral, crazy Dr. Seuss desert, pine forest, oak bottomlands, and a beautiful stretch of green rolling hills this morning that was LotR-epic.
My feet have been holding up pretty well; the first round of blisters is going down. I’ve camped out every night — the fourth night, I had this perfect view of the sunset from the San Felipe hills. I’ve met an amazing set of hikers so far — such a welcoming group.
My next resupply is near Cabazon around mile 210. ‘Til then!
→ Next: Warner Springs (mile 110) to Idyllwild (mile 152): Resting and regrouping in Idyllwild

YES! That is one happy-lookin’ hiker! *Love* the purple dress, too.
You look so different now from when you hiked the JMT. I love that purple dress.
